The muppet's are hot this season.  And I have to tell you, that makes me smile.  I love the muppet show.  I loved them as a kid and I still love them now.  And that is why I'm super excited that this November OPI is launching a limited edition Muppet's collection.

Smoky Couleur - Make Up For Ever

I love the brand Make Up For Ever.  I mean I really, really love their products.  And I'm super excited about their new fall Smoky Couleur limited edition launch for fall 2011.  In one palette you can create a blue, green, purple, brown or a classic black smoky eye.

Besides the palette of gorgeous smoky eye shadows, they are also offering 4 coloured mascaras called Smoky Lash Coulour in brown, green, blue and purple.  But no smoky eye can be complete with out a smudged out liner, so Make Up For Ever has created 3 new eye kohl pencils in Pearly Deep Blue, Matte Mocha Brown, and Pearly Black Purple.  I'm LOVING this!!!

Fall 2011 Makeup Trends

I hate to say it, but I can feel the fall air moving in.  And that has me thinking about what's trendy for makeup this fall.

The three major makeup trends that I have been seeing are:
1.  feline shaped eyes with winged eye liner, which I adore.
2.  colourful smokey eyes, which I adore.
3.  and bold, bright red lips, again which I adore.
Bottom line, I think I'm going to have a lot of fun this fall!

Turquoise - My Favourite Colour

I've talked about some of my favourite summer colours in a few previous posts, and today I want to post about my favourite colour of all, no matter what the season...Turquoise!

I love turquoise nail polish, and there are lots to chose from out there, from high end to drug store finds :)

An easy way to incorporate turquoise into your makeup look is to use it as a colourful eye liner.  I think Make Up For Ever did a fantastic job with their Aqua Liner ads:

I also love turquoise jewelry, but I find that it can either be gorgeous or gaudy, so you have to be careful on what you choose and what you pair it with.  I love this ring I found on Haute Look:

Do you remember Cameron Diaz wearing turquoise jewelry on the red carpet?  I loved that look on her so much. Turquoise looks so stunning paired with her fuchsia and plum colours.
