Sunset Makeup

Last month I had a PEI sunset photo contest where people could submit their photos of PEI sunsets for a chance to win a free makeup application by me.  You all voted, and the winning picture was this one:

I also wanted to create a makeup look based on the colours in this photo and I came up with 2 somewhat similar looks.

This first look I used MAC paint pot as a base and MAC eyeshadows, MAC fluidline and MAC lashes.

Then my second look that I created I used Make Up For Ever cream colours as a base and Ben Nye eyeshadows, MAC Fluidline and MAC lashes.

What do you think?  Do you like the first look or the second look best?  I was really surprised that the MAC eyeshadows in the first look did not photography as vibrant as the Make Up For Ever in the second look.
